Brett Lee is a world-class cricketer. Born on November 8, 1976, he is one of three sons born to Bob and Helen Lee. He has an older brother Shane and a younger brother Grant.

He grew up in Wollongong, NSW. Brett's greatest influences in his life are his family. He says "My family are a very tight-knit unit. If someone told me that I had to give up fashion, cricket and my music to guarantee my family's health and happiness, I'd do it." Lee is most famous for his right-arm fast bowling style.

His fastest ever recorded is 160.8 km/h which he bowled against New Zealander Craig Cumming in his first over on March 5th, 2005. Lee won the Donald Bradman Young Player of the Year Award at the Allan Border Medal award ceremony in 2000 soon after his debut. Lee's popularity grew when he was voted runner-up in Cleo Magazine's Annual Bachelor of the Year competition in 2000.

He is considered as the "pin-up boy" in cricket by many female fans. Brett lives in Sydney. Lee married Liz Kemp in June 2006 and recently welcome their son Preston Charles into the world on November 16th, 2006 a week before the first Ashes Test.
